Police report preview - March 12 to March 18

• A Hastings man reported he had been receiving 10 to 12 phone calls a day from an ex-boyfriend. The calls were all being made to check on the welfare of the couple’s dog. Parties were advised.
• People were writing on a wall in the 100 block of Sibley Street. It was later found that the people had drawn two dinosaurs and a heart on the wall with chalk.
• An 81-year-old man had been making inappropriate sexual comments to an 88-year-old female resident at a home along the 900 block of 16th Street. The man had asked the woman to take off her shirt, among other things.
The parties involved in the matter were advised.
