Letter: Hastings needs a bowling alley

To the editor:

Hastings needs more activities for teens. This city would benefit from a bowling alley. Children have many things to do in Hastings up to the age of 12. We have parks, an aquatic center, and ice rinks. Now we just need something for ages 12 and up.

Teenagers spend their free time playing video games, sitting or around, or getting into trouble. A bowling alley would be great because it is good for kids of all ages, and it can be a great thing for families to do together. According to Hastings Happenings, many people in town say we should have a bowling based on the size and demographics of our city. A bowling alley benefits those who are too young to drive and saves gas for those who drive. Entrepreneurs in Hastings should take some time to consider opening a bowling because it would be very beneficial to Hastings.
