Hastings Tastings is March 26 at SEAS

The 17th annual Hastings Tastings, an evening including fine dining, a silent auction, entertainment and a beer and wine raffle will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 26, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 2035 W. 15th St. The evening is a benefit for Hastings Family Service.

The 17th annual Hastings Tastings, an evening including fine dining, a silent auction, entertainment and a beer and wine raffle will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 26, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 2035 W. 15th St.

The evening is a benefit for Hastings Family Service.

Hastings area restaurants and businesses offer samplings of their favorite dishes. Advance sale tickets are $30, with tickets being $35 at the door. Tickets are available at Hastings Family Service, KDWA, Cub, Coborn’s Superstore, Hastings Area YMCA, Hastings Community Education, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit and MDK Hair Design.

The tentative menu selections for the evening are:

American Legion Post 47: Mini reubens, Asian style wings, and dessert.

Bierstube: Sauerbraten, Schweine Haxen, Bratwurst, Mettwurst, Sauerkraut and Spatzle.

Coborn’s: Roll-ups and appetizers.

Creative Confectionaire: Caramel corn.

Cub Foods: Dilusso meats and cheeses.

Dickey’s BBQ Pit: Pulled pork sandwiches, cole slaw, and pickles.

Dugarel’s: Cajun dry rub chicken wings and mandarin chicken salad sandwiches.

Dunn Bros. coffee: Coffee.

Emily’s Bakery & Deli: Apple-cranberry slaw salad, stuffed pepper soup, orange rolls and mini croissants, assorted angel food cake and chocolate cake truffles.

Green Mill: Spinach tortelloni, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and beef pot roast with gravy.

Hastings Co-Op Creamery: Milk.

3 Rivers Grille at Hastings Country Club: Pot roast with vegetables and fingerling potatoes.

Las Tortillas: Tinga style chicken soft shell tacos.

Me & Julio’s: Mexican fried rice, refried beans, hamburger sliders, cheese curds and buffalo and Cajun wings.

The Onion Grille: Fun and exciting appetizers and Chef Sonnek’s homemade ice cream.

Panera Bread: Bacon turkey bravo sandwich, chicken wild rice soup, sierra turkey sandwich.

Papa Murphy’s Pizza: Gourmet chicken garlic, chicken bacon artichoke, pepperoni, cowboy and cheese pizzas.

Perkins Family Restaurant: Assorted Perkins pies.

RJs Tavern on Main: Reubens and Russian mushroom potato soup.

Spiral Natural Foods Co-Op: Spiral spring salad.

Silent auction items include Guthrie Theatre tickets, The Ordway tickets, Walker Art Center passes, a Twins baseball uniform, Pampered Chef mixing and measuring collection, a Power Within Chiropractic massage, and a handcrafted hope chest donated by Quality One.
