Letter: Code enforcement task force findings are important
A code enforcement task force was formed by the City of Hastings to review the city's property maintenance, code enforcement and rental housing ordinances and enforcement process.
A code enforcement task force was formed by the City of Hastings to review the city's property maintenance, code enforcement and rental housing ordinances and enforcement process.
The findings and recommendations of the task force will be presented at the city council meeting on March 19. City council meetings begin at 7 p.m.
The economic downturn has, and is, affecting our city. I urge anyone with concerns about rental properties, foreclosures and/or the enforcement process to attend this important meeting.
