Police report preview - March 5 to March 11

• Two juveniles exchanged a bag that appeared to contain a number of pills. A witness saw the exchange and reported it to police at 10 a.m. at Hastings Middle School. The prescription pills were confiscated. A 13-year-old juvenile was cited for possession of prescription medication that wasn’t prescribed to him. The matter was referred to juvenile court.

• Two Hastings juveniles were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana at Hastings High School at 2:05 p.m. March 8. Cited were a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old.

• A 17-year-old Hastings juvenile was reportedly driving recklessly in the middle school parking lot. Officers made contact with the driver’s mother, who assured officers she would address the matter. The call was reported at 3:13 p.m.
