Police department plans 'Communities Against Senior Exploitation' event here
The Hastings Police Department will host an informational and educational program, “Communities Against Senior Exploitation,” at 6:30 p.m. March 22 in the Community Room at Hastings City Hall, 101 E. Fourth St.
The Hastings Police Department will host an informational and educational program, “Communities Against Senior Exploitation,” at 6:30 p.m. March 22 in the Community Room at Hastings City Hall, 101 E. Fourth St.
“Communities Against Senior Exploitation” is a proactive program providing critical information related
to the various methods of financial exploitation and simple strategies to avoid becoming a victim.
The presentation includes information on identity theft, telemarketing fraud, caregiver fraud and
other methods of exploitation.
The session will be presented by First Judicial District Court Judge Michael Fahey, who served as
the Carver County Attorney before being appointed to the bench, and Mr. Kelley Archer, who serves
as Information Security Officer at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
