The T-Rex sculpture that was stolen from outside of Spiral Natural Foods last week has been located. It was found south of Hastings along Highway 61. It appears as though it was thrown from a vehicle.

Hastings Chief of Police Paul Schnell said the sculpture, made by a Hastings artist and being used as a promotion to raise awareness for art in the area, is in "OK condition," and it appears as though some of the animal's feet are damaged.

Anyone with more information on the crime is asked to call the Hastings Police Department at 651-480-2300 or to send an anonymous text message. Anyone with a cell phone can text the word “Hastings” followed by a space and the tip information to 847411 (tip411).
