The season ended Wednesday for the Hastings boys basketball team. The Raiders lost in Owatonna to the Huskies, 59-50.
Hastings, the section's No. 7 seed, held a four-point halftime lead, and was in the game for most of the second half against the No. 2 seeded Huskies.
Hastings trailed by just three points with 2:42 to play at 53-50, and the Raiders had a chance to tie the game.
Unfortunately, Hastings wasn't able to score during that final 2:42, and Owatonna hit its free throws down the stretch to pull away.
