Erickson takes 22nd at state

Hastings High School’s lone representative at the state Alpine ski meet, Dustin Erickson, placed 22nd.
Erickson, a senior, finished his first run in 36.73 seconds. He finished his second run in 37.1 seconds for a combined time of 1 minute and 13.83 seconds.
The winner, Bjorn Halvorson of Minnehaha Academy, finished in 1:09.44.
The meet was held Wednesday at Giants Ridge in Biwabik.
Minnetonka won the team title, with Edina taking second and Stillwater third.
There were approximately 90 competitors in the meet.
