Letter: Listening session planned for senior care

This is the wrap-up to a letter conversation that began with one titled, “Let’s make it easier for seniors to stay home.”

To the editor,

This is the wrap-up to a letter conversation that began with one titled, “Let’s make it easier for seniors to stay home.”

After hearing the plea to find a way to offer suggestions for "improving the system" in helping seniors stay at home, we have a forum scheduled to do just that.

We are senior service providers (listed below) that serve Hastings. We invite all caregivers of senior loved ones to tell us your story, your concerns and your suggestions for making the senior support network work better. You’ll talk, we’ll listen and together we’ll work toward making it easier for you and all caregivers to come.

When: Tuesday, March 27

Where: Tilden Community Center, 310 River St. Hastings

Time: 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

If you can attend, please RSVP to the Tilden Community Center, 651-480-7670, so we can plan space needs and welcome you.
