Erickson qualifies for state Alpine ski meet

Hastings High School's Dustin Erickson has qualified for the state Alpine ski meet.
Erickson placed ninth at Wednesday's section meet at Wild Mountain with a combined time of 59.53 seconds.
He finished his first run with a time of 29.68 and his second run with a time of 26.85.
The winner, Bjorn Halvorson, had a combined time of 56.01.
The state meet is set for Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Giants Ridge in Biwabik.
