PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

MARSHAN TOWNSHIP

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Planning Commission will hold a

public hearing at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at the

Marshan Town Hall, 12497-205th Street, located near the intersection

of 205th Street and Highway 61.

The purpose of the public hearing is to consider issuing an Interim Use Permit to Verizon Wireless to erect a 199 feet tall wireless communications tower to be located approximately 600 feet east of US Highway 61 and approximately 400 feet north of 205th Street, on leased property (Kingston farm) in the West Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 114, Range 17. A similar permit was issued in 2009 but was not implemented and has expired.

All interested parties are urged to attend the public hearing or

submit written comment to be read at the hearing.
