Lanes to be narrowed north of bridge today, Dec. 15, resulting in some delays

Motorists traveling both directions of Highway 61 north of the Hastings bridge may encounter non-rush hour delays Thursday, Dec. 15, as lane widths are temporarily reduced and flaggers control traffic as necessary between King’s Cove Marina and the north end of the bridge.

Motorists traveling both directions of Highway 61 north of the Hastings bridge may encounter non-rush hour delays Thursday, Dec. 15, as lane widths are temporarily reduced and flaggers control traffic as necessary between King’s Cove Marina and the north end of the bridge.

Both lanes will be narrowed between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Brief, intermittent lane closures with a flagging crew will be possible as equipment is moved in and out of the area. The lane widths are being reduced as crews conduct road maintenance in and around the median.

As is expected for the entire project, two-way traffic will remain across the river during rush hours, and access to local businesses and residences will not be affected.
