Crash closed Highway 55 west of Hastings
A portion of Highway 55 was closed in both directions west of Hastings near Emerald Greens Golf Course because of a crash. Emergency responders were called to the report of a head-on collision at about 3:25 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12.

A portion of Highway 55 was closed in both directions west of Hastings near Emerald Greens Golf Course.
Emergency responders were called to the report of a head-on collision at about 3:25 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12. The crash occurred next to the golf course, just west of the the intersection with Goodwin Avenue. At least two people were transported to the hospital.
One person was extricated from his/her vehicle by crews from the Hastings Fire Department.
