PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

CITY OF MIESVILLE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the City Council, acting as the Planning Commission of the City of Miesville, will hold two public hearings beginning at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in the Council

Chambers located at the Fire Hall. The purpose of the first public

hearing is to consider adopting Ordinance No. 2011, City of Miesville Floodplain Management Ordinance. The purpose of the second public hearing is to consider adopting Ordinance No. 2010-A, an ordinance amending the City of Miesville Zoning Ordinance, which amendment

includes clarification of zoning districts and reference to the Floodplain Management Ordinance, amends the Zoning Map to include the

floodplain overlay area, and amends the variance procedures to be

consistent with revised State Statutes. Copies of the draft ordinances may be reviewed by appointment with the City Clerk.

All interested parties are urged to attend this hearing or

submit written comments to be read at the hearing.
