Clarence Tervola, 86

Clarence Tervola, age 86, died Nov. 6 at Augustana Nursing Home.

Clarence was born May 12, 1925, in Grandledge, Mich. He served in the Army during World War II. He married Florence Zeien on Aug. 30, 1952. Clarence worked as a veterinarian at the Hastings Veterinarian Clinic and at the South St. Paul stockyards.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence.

He is survived by his children, Steve (Terrylee McCabe) Tervola of Eagan, Greg Tervola of St. Paul, Diane (Jim) Naatz of Hastings, Cindy (Randy Adolf) of Maui, Linda (Bill) Gruden of Hastings, Darlene (Dan) Thiele of Hastings, and Roxanne (Dan) Alzheimer of Wyoming, as well as his grandchildren, Leah, Lindsay, Brent, Ross, Elizabeth, Michael, Jessica, Nelson, Ryan, Brandon, Zachary, and Christopher.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings, with a visitation 2 hours prior to Mass starting at 9 a.m. Pallbearers are Brent Tervola, Ross Tervola, Brandon Naatz, Ryan Doffing, and Zachary Doffing. Interment will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery.

The Wise Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
