Motorcyclist injured in Hastings crash
A motorcycle driver was transported to Regions Hospital after a crash at the intersection of County Road 46 and General Sieben Drive at 3:22 p.m. Sept. 15.
A motorcycle driver was transported to Regions Hospital after a crash at the intersection of County Road 46 and General Sieben Drive at 3:22 p.m. Sept. 15. Thomas Hagen, 57 of Farmington, was driving his motorcycle westbound on CR 46 when Jennifer Johnson-Silvia, 34 of Hastings, pulled out in front of him from General Sieben Drive. Johnson-Silvia told police she didn’t see the motorcycle. Hagen veered to avoid hitting Johnson-Silvia and crashed on the side of the road. Hagen rolled and the motorcycle slid another 50 feet. Johnson-Silvia was cited for failure to yield.
