Raiders tennis team goes 2-1 in Duluth
The Hastings girls tennis team has its season off to a good start. The team went 2-1 during a weekend tournament in Duluth.

Hastings beat Duluth East in the first round of play, 4-3.
Morgan Tjomsland lost at first singles, 7-6, 6-1.
Hailey Lundquist won at second singles, 7-6, 6-4.
At third singles, Jill Weinzettel lost 7-6, 6-0.
At fourth singles, Annika Peterson won, 6-4, 6-7, 10-4.
Erika Nielsen and Kirsten Peterson teamed up at first doubles and won, 3-6, 7-5, 10-5. At second doubles, Ashley Addison and Hannah Carlson fell, 6-1, 7-6.
The third doubles team of Caitlyn Judge and Abby Williams won, 6-0, 7-5.
In the second round, Hastings lost to Virginia, 5-2.
Kirsten Peterson fell, 6-2, 6-0; Tjomsland lost, 7-6, 6-0; Lundquist lost, 6-2, 6-0; Annika Peterson won, 6-2, 6-1.
In doubles, Addison and Weinzettle lost, 1-6, 6-2, 12-10.
Nielsen and Hannah Carlson lost 6-4, 6-4.
Ashley Helget and Maddie Carlson won 6-4, 6-4.
In the third round, Hastings beat White Bear Lake, 6-1.
Lundquist won, 6-3, 6-1.
Tjomsland won, 4-6, 7-6, 10-3.
Annika Peterson won, 6-1, 6-1.
Weinzettel won, 6-0, 6-1.
Kirsten Peterson and Nielsen lost, 7-6, 7-5.
Addison and Hannah Carlson won, 7-6, 3-6, 12-10.
