‘My Father’s Black Bag’ program on August 1
The Hastings Area Senior Center and the LeDuc Historic Estate will sponsor a special program, “My Father’s Black Bag: Medical Care in the Great Depression,” at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at the mansion, 1629 Vermillion St. Walter Benjamin, author of “The Magical Years: a Boyhood Remembrance,” will share his experience of the Depression. The cost is $5 – make check payable to the Senior Center.
