Teens experience Japanese art and traditions on July 11

Area teens are invited to the Pleasant Hill Library on Monday, July 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to learn about Japanese traditions and create various Japanese art. The folks at ArtStart will demonstrate Japanese foods, dress and dance traditions.

Area teens are invited to the Pleasant Hill Library on Monday, July 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to learn about Japanese traditions and create various Japanese art. The folks at ArtStart will demonstrate Japanese foods, dress and dance traditions. Teens will have a chance to create their own oragami sculptures as well as a Japanese lantern. All material will be provided. There is no charge for the event, however, registration is required.
