Hastings to face Bloomington Jefferson in first round of state tourney

The Hastings softball team will face Bloomington Jefferson in the first round of the state softball tournament on Thursday.
The game is at 9 a.m. in North Mankato.
Jefferson beat the state's No. 1-ranked team, Burnsville, in their section title game.
Hastings' second game of the state tournament will be at 3 p.m. Thursday.
