Back to the 50s drive-in is June 6
The “Back to the 50s Drive-In” will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 6, at Our Saviour’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 400 W. Ninth St. The drive-in will be open rain or shine.

The evening is a fundraiser for the two missions trips of the middle and high school youth of the church.
The evening includes 50’s music – the block on the south side of the church will be blocked off to traffic and people can dance to the beat. On the north side of the church, an area will be designated for classic cars. People are encouraged, but not required, to were 50s-style clothing.
There will be hamburgers, cheeseburgers, double cheeseburgers, with appropriate names from the “Happy Days” show; hot dogs; French Fries (made in fryers); ice cream floats; pop; bottled water. The youth will be working the booth under the supervision of adults.
The 25 middle school students, through the Youth Works organization, will travel to Milwaukee in July. There, they will work in soup shelter and assist with vacation Bible school.
The high school youth are participating in the Mission Mexico trip the latter part of June. This trip will take the young people to El Paso where they will work on a variety of projects and also participate in vacation Bible School.
