Raiders sweep tennis section opener
The Hastings boys tennis team got the section tournament off to a great start Tuesday with a 7-0 win over Faribault.

Ben Carlson won at first singles, 6-1, 6-2.
Matt Lund won at No. 2 singles, 6-3, 6-3.
At third singles, Chase Kasel cruised to a win. He won, 6-0, 6-0.
At fourth singles, Cody Arndtson won 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles, the No. 1 team of Charlie Carpenter and Ty Mellick won 6-3, 6-1.
Zach Mellick and Jalen Sneddeker won 6-0, 6-1.
Ben Klimek and Steve Roach won easily at third doubles, 6-0, 6-0.
