Floodwaters receding
The Mississippi River is dropping once again, after reaching a second crest of 17.76 feet Wednesday morning, April 13.
The Mississippi River is dropping once again, after reaching a second crest of 17.76 feet Wednesday morning, April 13. The National Weather Service is predicting water levels will continue to drop over the next week.
The first crest occurred March 31. At that time, water rose to about 17.5 feet.
