After the collection, the items will be transported to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Hastings, which is the official sponsor for the collection.

Volunteers will put the kits together and pack them on Monday March 14. The kits will then be taken to an Apple Valley drop site where they will be picked up and trucked to Utah for distribution in disaster-stricken areas. Cash donated will be used to buy items needed to complete the kits.
