HHS graduate playing in Canada's collegiate basketball tournament

2006 Hastings graduate Doug Plumb is competing this weekend in the Canadian Interuniversity Sports basketball tournament. He plays for the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds. The Thunderbirds won their first-round game.
Plumb wears No. 10. The Thunderbirds are the team in white and blue.
Plumb is a big part of the Thunderbirds’ success. He has started 26 of the 29 games he is played in and is averaging 11.7 points per game. He is one of five UBC players to average in double figures.
UBC has a 29-2 overall record and is the top seed.
