Raiders advance to section semifinals

In Saturday’s semifinal round, Eagan took a 1-0 lead at 3:37 of the first period.
Hastings countered three minutes later on a goal by Nate Flynn. He was assisted by Austin Nelson and Tate Sykes.
Eagan went back up by a goal at 13:12 on the power play.
But, at 14:10, Austin scored to tie the game 2-2. He was assisted by Flynn and Zach Mellick.
Eagan took the lead for good at 6:16 of the second period with a short-handed goal.
The Wildcats scored again at 13:21 and at 15:43.
Eagan outshot Hastings, 37-17.
P.J. Piotrowski played in goal for the Raiders and made 32 saves on 37 shots.
Vs Woodbury
Hastings beat Woodbury in the section quarterfinals, 3-2.
After a scoreless first period, Woodbury took a 1-0 lead on a goal at 3:40.
A minute later, though, Flynn scored on the power play to even the score 1-1. He was assisted by Andrew Lindberg.
The Raiders took the lead for good at 10:02, when Zach Mellick scored on the power play. He was assisted by Nelson.
At 9:50 of the third period, Nelson scored to give Hastings a 3-1 lead. Sykes made the assist.
At 15:05, Woodbury pulled its goalie and at 15:31 they scored to make the score 3-2, but Hastings held on for the win.
Hastings outshot Woodbury, 30-28.
Piotrowski made 26 saves on 28 shots.
