Hildegard M. Eggert, 92

Hildegard M. Eggert, age 92, of Hastings, died Feb. 16, 2011, at Regina Medical Center.

Hildegard was born Oct. 1, 1918, in Holdingford, Minn., to Joseph and Louise (Roesch) Zeis. She married Elmer J. Eggert on Dec. 28, 1940, in Minneapolis, and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 8 siblings; and son-in-law Bob Friesen. Hildegard is survived by her children, Elaine (Butch) Lee and Butch (Judy) Eggert, both of Hastings; grandchildren, Diane (Gary) Neubauer, Ron (Kara) Friesen, Bobbi (Jeff) Kieffer, Jim (Pam) Eggert, and Joe (Sue) Eggert; great-grandchildren, Cory (Eve), Cody, Katelyn, Mike, Becca, Sean, Kelly, Emily, Dan, Sierra, Maddie, and Sheymus; great-great-grandson, Kyle Friesen.

The funeral Mass, officiated by Rev. Robert Altier, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 21, at Regina Chapel, 1175 Nininger Rd., Hastings, with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Neubauer, Ron Friesen, Jeff Kieffer, Jim Eggert, Joe Eggert, and Mike Brown.
