Fran Cahill, 74

Fran Cahill, an avid baker, age 74, of Hastings, passed away Feb. 15, 2011, at Prescott Care Center.

Fran was born in Hastings on Sept. 1, 1936, to Frank and Marie (Denn) Cahill. He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years.

Fran was preceded in death by his parents and nephew John Cahill.

He is survived by his siblings, Marg Mollick, Babe (Don) Holzmer, John (Rita) Cahill, Mike (Archie) Cahill, Pat (Deb) Cahill; many nieces and nephews; uncle, Vess Denn; and aunt, Josephine Denn.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery. Memorials preferred to donor’s choice.
