Power pole replaced this week

Working out of buckets lifted high in the air, utility workers braved the cold this week to install a new mono-pole that is replacing the old lattice power line tower just east of the Highway 61 bridge.

Working out of buckets lifted high in the air, utility workers braved the cold this week to install a new mono-pole that is replacing the old lattice power line tower just east of the Highway 61 bridge.

The $460,000 project is being paid for out of the visual quality part of the new bridge budget.
