Downtown snow piles
Crews from the City of Hastings were busy clearing snow from downtown Hastings on Monday. They obviously had a full day of work ahead of them.
An incredible winter storm dropped approximately 16 inches of snow in Hastings over the weekend. Snow began falling here Friday night around 9 p.m. and finally let up at about 7 p.m. Saturday.
When all was said and done, the snow total makes the blizzard one of the worst in the state's history.
If you have photographs of the storm that you want to share with the Star Gazette, please e-mail them to editor Chad Richardson: crichardson@hastingsstargazette.com.
