The Hastings football team plays host to Forest Lake Friday night in the homecoming football game. Gametime is 7 p.m.
Hastings has a 1-4 record on the season.
Forest Lake is 1-4 as well.
The Rangers’ win came Friday night over White Bear Lake, 19-13.
Hastings lost to White Bear Lake in the season’s first game, 35-0.
Another common opponent this season was Roseville. Forest Lake lost 41-40 to the Raiders.
Hastings lost to Roseville on Friday night, 37-14.
Hastings fell behind 28-0 in the first half before rallying for the next two scores. Roseville scored nine fourth-quarter points to put the game away.
The first Hastings touchdown was scored by Matt Anderson on a 14-yard run. Dylan Nelson kicked the extra point. It came with just 37 seconds to play in the second quarter.
The second score came through the air, when Aaron Stoneberg hit Ryan Doffing for a 19-yard touchdown. Nelson again was successful on the point-after-touchdown.
Anderson gained 118 yards on 16 carries for the Raiders.
Stoneberg completed nine of 18 attempts for 94 yards and the touchdown.
Doffing had three catches. Ellis Williams, Jake Koenig and Tony Hammes also had receptions.
Hammes also had a 53-yard kickoff return.
Roseville was able to compile 242 yards worth of rushing and 181 yards of passing against the Raider defense.
