Softball section championship postponed

The Hastings Raider softball team will have to wait one more day to find out if they'll get a shot at the state tournament.

The section championship game, originally scheduled at 7 p.m. tonight, June 1, has been postponed due to weather. The game is rescheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, in Austin.

Hastings beat Winona, 5-2, and then Rochester Mayo, 8-1, to advance. The Raiders will play the winner of the game between Winona and Mayo.
