Softball: Raiders win opening game of section tournament, 7-0
The Hastings softball team got the section tournament off to a good start Wednesday night in Hastings. The Raiders beat the Owatonna Huskies, 7-0.
The Hastings softball team got the section tournament off to a good start Wednesday night in Hastings. The Raiders beat the Owatonna Huskies, 7-0.
The win qualifies Hastings for the four-team double-elimination tournament that begins Friday in Austin. Hastings will play two games, the first at 5 p.m. and the second at 7 p.m.
Jenelle Trautmann got the pitching win for Hastings.
The Raiders are the section's No. 1 seeded team.
