Kenneth Truax, age 75, of Hastings, passed away May 17, 2010, in hospice at Regina.
He was born to Richard and Mathilda on August 7, 1934, in Hastings. He married Leota Winberg on June 16, 1956, in St. Paul Park. He retired from Ramsey County Juvenile and Family Court where he served as a referee for 20 years.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Caleb, Keith, Sheldon, and David.
He is survived by his wife, Leota; children, Paul (Lynn), John, Peg, Joann Cole; grandbabies, Callie, Morgan, Kurt, Will, Ben, Luke; brothers Richard, Frank (Judy), sister, Mary Lou (Richard) Fendrick; sisters-in-law, Marge and Charlotte; brother-in-law, Donald (Carolyn) Winberg; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 615 Vermillion St., Hastings. Visitation from 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 21, at the Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings, and one hour prior to service at church. Memorials preferred to the Union Gospel Mission.
