Nichole L. "Rose" Jenny, age 39, of Lakeville, has passed away.
Nichole was a 1988 graduate of Richfield High School. She went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Gustavus Adolphus College. She was a dedicated member of the nursing staff at Hennepin County Medical Center surgical unit for many years. In recent years, she served patients as an allergy nurse at Southdale Pediatrics.
Nichole was a tremendous athlete with a lifelong dedication to fitness and athletics. She was a member of the soccer team at Gustavus and continued her passion for sports into her current life, participating in soccer and broomball. Her infectious smile, her beautiful blue eyes, and her ability to connect with people are what made Nichole beautiful inside and out. Her dedication to her daughter, Cassie, was always her top priority. Nichole was always on the go, but cuddling on the couch with Cassie is something she cherished and did often. Nichole was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew her, including family, friends, and fellow teammates.
Survived by husband, Dr. Jason Jenny; daughter, Cassandra; stepdaughter, Elizabeth “Ellie”; stepson, Matthew; parents, John and Judy Stavros; brother, Andrew Stavros; mother- and father-in-law, Jerome “Butch” and Yvonne Jenny; nephew, Alexander; and niece, Gabrielle. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
Her life will be celebrated at a memorial service at 12 noon Thursday, March 25, at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 50th St. and Knox Ave. S., Minneapolis. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, W. 50th St. and Hwy 100, Edina.
