Round two of Red Bulls returns

Maj. Charles O'Connell of Rochester was one of about 80 soldiers from the 34th Infantry Division to be reunited with family Sunday at the Rosemount Community Center.

Sunday's group was the second of four waves of soldiers from the 34th who are returning from a deployment in Iraq. The first group came home Jan. 24.

A total of 197 soldiers from the 34th came home Sunday to locations in Rosemount, Inver Grove Heights and Stillwater. Of the 1,000-member 34th Infantry Division that is returning this month, about 20 are Hastings residents.
