Mudhens and Aces to face off

The Miesville Mudhens and the Red Wing Aces will play a best-out-of-five series in local amateur baseball playoff action.
The series begins at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Jack Ruhr Field in Miesville.
The second game will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, again in Miesville.
The third game is set for 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, in Red Wing.
Game four (if necessary) is set for 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, in Red Wing.
Game five (if necessary) is back in Miesville at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15.
The winner of the series advances to the state tournament.
