Fall kills Douglas Township man

The Dakota County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a Douglas Township man from a fall which occurred at his rural home near Miesville Friday, July 10.

The Dakota County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a Douglas Township man from a fall which occurred at his rural home near Miesville Friday, July 10.

Roger Joseph Pollock, 73, was apparently changing a yard light from a “cherry picker” machine 30 feet above the ground when he fell.

Pollock was found by a family member when relatives were unable to reach him at his home.
