Truck driver killed in crash on County Road 46
A 38-year-old Oklahoma man, Franklin Duane Conley, died in a one vehicle accident Thursday afternoon on Dakota County Road 46, west of Goodwin Avenue.By: Chad Richardson, The Hastings Star-Gazette

A 38-year-old Oklahoma man, Franklin Duane Conley, died in a one vehicle accident Thursday afternoon on Dakota County Road 46, west of Goodwin Avenue.
According to the Dakota County Sheriff's office, Conley, driving a semi trailer was eastbound, drove off the roadway into the ditch, and hit some power wires. A small grass fire resulted.
Hastings Fire and Ambulance responded to the scene.
Conley was pronounced dead at the scene.
A portion of County Road 46 near Goodwin Ave. was closed for traffic in both directions Thursday following the crash.
