In less than one week, two females, one of them a minor, were sexually assaulted in the Three Rivers Mobile Home Park.

Hastings Police said the incidents were not related.

The first incident was reported by a juvenile female Saturday, Aug. 5. The female told police an unknown male assaulted her at a residence in the Three Rivers Mobile Home Park. A follow-up investigation by Hastings police investigators resulted in the arrest of Bobby Earl Jefferson, 26, who was charged Monday with first-degree criminal sexual assault. Jefferson is being held at the Dakota County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

The other incident occurred Wednesday, Aug. 9, when Hastings police were called out to Three Rivers Mobile Home Park at 4 a.m. to respond to a 911 call.

A resident in the neighborhood called 911 to report a possible assault after she heard a female screaming.

Upon arrival, Hastings police officers found a female attempting to flee from a residence out of the bedroom window. Officers also found the male suspect and took him into custody. The suspect, Michael Joseph Clark, 27, was charged Monday in Dakota County Court with first degree criminal sexual conduct and first degree burglary. Clark is being held in the Dakota County Jail in lieu of $150,000.
