SEAS tailgate sale is Saturday, June 1

For the third consecutive year, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church is offering the use of its parking lot for its annual tailgate sale. The event is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 1. For a $15 fee interested people can rent two parking spaces in the church lot, 2035 W. 15th St., and sell their items.

The sale will be held rain or shine. Tailgaters may set up anytime on the morning of June 1.

Participants must provide their own tables, tents and change to customers. They keep the proceeds from their individual sales.

No ready-to-eat food or beverages will be allowed for sale by tailgaters. However, canned jams and jellies, salsa and sauces can be sold.

Summer youth mission participants will have items for sale, and the proceeds will go toward their trip. If your sale will benefit a charity or organization, that information must be made known upon registration. Seton Church reserves the right to refuse rental at its sole discretion.

Registration must be completed in person. Participants will choose from available parking spaces at that time. There is a minimum rental of two spaces. There will be no refunds.

All tables, chairs, chairs and tailgate sale items must be removed from the parking lot no later than 2:30 p.m. June 1.

A truck from the Courage Center will be available at the end of the sale to take any acceptable unsold items people may want to donate. Donations are tax deductible. A list of acceptable items for donation is available in the office or on the church website.

Registration forms are available in the church office and on the church's website at on the "Upcoming Events" tab. All renters are required to sign an Indemnification Agreement.

Church office hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday; and from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday.
