Two Minnesota writers coming to library to talk about their spooky books
On Saturday, Sept. 28, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. the Pleasant Hill Library will have Duluth writer Wendy Webb, who wrote the “The Fate of Mercy Alban” and “Tale of Halcyon Crane.” Both books are fiction with a supernatural twist. The stories are set in the Lake Superior area and have a lot of local color for everyone that is fond of that part of our state.
On Saturday, Oct. 5, author Rachel Hanel will be here from 11 to noon. Her true story: “We will be the last ones to let you down: a memoir of a gravedigger’s daughter” is funny at times and very recognizable for all of us from small towns. There’s also a little graveyard insider information.
Both are available for interviews before the event and have publicity photos on their websites.
