Threats allegedly made
Hastings Police have charged William Roger Moeller, 33, no permanent address, with terroristic threats, driving after cancellation, domestic assault and criminal damage to property in the fourth degree following a Jan. 6 incident at a Hastings residence.
According to the criminal complaint, police were called to the residence on the report of a verbal domestic incident. When they arrived at the residence, they met with a female. She said she and her child were visiting an acquaintance at the residence. The acquaintance went outside and observed that another vehicle was blocking his, and the vehicle had apparently struck it. The female went outside and talked to Moeller. She said that Moeller began yelling at her and calling her names. At one point he raised his fists. She said she was afraid. He then got into his vehicle and drove away.
Police located him at his place of employment. Initially he denied he was in Hastings and said that he was home, but then he said had been in Hastings and located the woman. He admitted to yelling at her and threatening to hit her. He also said he crashed his vehicle into the other vehicle at the residence.
