Swimmers have no trouble with Roseville

The Hastings girls swimming and diving team has a 1-1 record so far this season in Suburban East Conference action. The Raiders lost to Mounds View but beat Roseville.

The Roseville meet was never in doubt, with Hastings building a 43-19 lead heading into diving.

Hastings swam exhibition-only in the final two events, giving Roseville a chance to make up some points down the stretch.

The swimmer of the meet for Hastings was eighth-grader Grace Hausman. She took second in the 100 freestyle and second in the 100 backstroke. In addition, she was on the first-place medley relay team.
