The state meet began Friday night for the Hastings boys swimming and diving team. The Raiders had a strong night, breaking two school records.

The 200 medley relay team and the 200 freestyle relay team each set school records. The 200 freestyle team cut a whole two seconds off a 20-year-old school record with their time of 1:26.11. That's the top time at the state meet heading into finals on Saturday night.

Thomas Everson earned the No. 2 seed in the 200 individual medley, too.
