Still no hearing on a Vikings stadium

ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Vikings' stadium-construction proposal still has not had a hearing in front of the Legislature, but that has not stopped the team's push from making news.

Gov. Mark Dayton, who met with Vikings owners and officials Thursday night, said it appears the team's search for a new home has narrowed to two sites after Hennepin County Board Chairman Mike Opat sent him a letter indicating he was ending efforts to build on the west end of downtown Minneapolis.
