Spring Fling grants presented to SEAS recipients
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School’s annual Spring Fling raises funds to support the school, its teachers and programs.
Last week, more than $17,000 in grants was presented to 10 teachers to help them teach their students.
“This is such a good way to learn,” said Anne Burns, who received an IPad with television monitor. “It is good tool to learn Bible facts. I’m really excited.”
For Clara Schultz and Camille Nelson, it means new books for “Yes, Reading Counts.”
Music teacher Emily Chandler is looking forward to new multi-level choral risers for her students.
“This is fantastic,” she said.
A new SmartBoard and projector will be used by Diane Talley in her second-grade classroom. It will enhance the teaching, she said.
