Spring break events at the Pleasant Hill Library
The Pleasant Hill Library will host a number of programs and events during Hastings' Spring Break Week for children of all ages. There is no charge for any of the events, and no registration is required.
Legos and Duplos on Tuesday, March 12, at 10:30 a.m. Children age 2 to 12 years old are invited to the library to let their imaginations go wild as they create fun and interesting forms using Legos and Duplos. This event will last about one hour.
Story Time for all Ages on Wednesday, March 13, at 10:30 a.m. Children age birth to 6 years old are invited to the library to hear stories about snakes, in celebration of the Chinese New Year. At the end of story time, children will be invited to make a craft project.
Pirates Ahoy! On Thursday, March 14, at 10:30 a.m. Come listen to the Story Man from England as he tells his swashbuckling story that encourages children to take on fun roles and to find a story book treasure. This program is geared for children of all ages. This event lasts about one hour. This is a Minnesota Legacy Program.
Book Bingo on Friday, March 15, at 10:30 a.m. Children of all ages are invited to the library for a fun-filled morning of everyone's favorite game -- bingo! Children will play the game for prizes, including gently used books.
