Southbound lane closure on bridge starts Monday
Southbound Highway 61 between Highway 10 and Fourth Street in Hastings will have one lane closed starting Monday, Aug. 18, as crews continue repairing the concrete barrier on the bridge. This lane closure is expected to last until mid-October, according to the Minnesota Department of Transporation.
The right lane is closed on northbound Highway 61 between Fourth Street and Hwy 10 for repairs to the bridge rail until early September.
In addition to the lane closure, the sidewalk/pedestrian trail on the east side of the bridge is also closed.
Drivers are asked to be patient during peak travel times.
